The Cornea Center at the Illinois Eye Institute provides clinical care for patients with cornea and external ocular disease problems, refractive surgery, and basic and specialty contact lens care needs.
IEI dispenses a wide range of contact lenses depending on the patient’s diagnosis and needs, including astigmatic lenses, disposables, toric lenses, soft lenses (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, bimonthly and quarterly), bifocal lenses and pediatric lenses.
Patient services include:
+ Cornea and external ocular disease management
+ Dry eye evaluation and management
+ Disposable and cosmetic contact lenses
+ Evaluation and management of complicated contact lens patients, such as those with:
+ Refractive surgery/laser correction
+ Computerized corneal analysis and contact lens calculation
